- Trabajos en miniseries de television en Colombia, con la programadora "PUNCH-TV" en el año de 1983.
- Estudios en ingles y computacion en Los Angeles, California en el año de 1989.
- Trabajos en conciertos de musica y modelos en Bogota DC, en el año 1993.
- Cofundador de la primera TV en Suecia en español, en 1995.
- Locutor y presentador del programa de radio "Musicalisimo", estacion de radio local en Gotemburgo, 1995/96
- Varios cursos de fotografia en blanco , negro y a color.

Un homenaje a mi padre por su inspiracion a este mundo de las comunicaciones.
Por: Helio Ruiz : Tal vez mis primeros pasos en el periodismo, fue a la edad de los 10 años en que yo acompañaba a mi padre en los fines de semana a su trabajo en las oficinas y talleres del diario EL TIEMPO.Miraba aquellas maquinas impresoras y rotativas junto a mi padre quien con su arte de la tipografia formaba los textos, mientras yo jugaba con algunas de las pequeñas letras de plomo que se utilizaban para la tipografia o caminaba entre las maquinas
o corredores del edificio que aun se encuentra ubicado en la Avenida Jimenez, en pleno corazon de Bogota, ( Colombia ).
Mi padre que a su vez era empleado permanente para el Ministerio de Salud de Colombia, de entidad en la que termino pensionado por sus servicios de mas de 30 años de trabajo en la redaccion y editoriales de las diferentes revistas y diarios de este instituto. En los diferentes momentos en que compartia con mi padre, no podia entender, sus conversaciones por enseñarme ese maravilloso arte de las letras , el papel , del periodismo y las comunicaciones, una combinacion de enseñanza entre mi padre y mi madre. Una historia familiar llena de anecdotas entre herencias, un primo presidente de Colombia , un abuelo heroe de la "Guerra de los mil Dias" concursos de reinas de belleza y muchas historias mas...

A tribute father by its inspiration to this world of the communications.
By: Helio Ruiz Perhaps my first passages in the media, were at the age of the 10 years in which I accompanied father in the endsweek to his work in the offices and factories of the newspaper THE TIME. Machines watched those printing and rotating next
to my father who with his art of typography formed texts, while I played with some of the small letters of lead that were used
for the typography or walked between the machines or runners of the building that still are located in the Jimenez Avenue, in
the heat of heart of Bogota, (Colombia).
My father who was permanent as well employee for the Ministry of Health of Colombia, of organization in which I finish
pensioner by its services of more than 30 years of work in the writing and publishing houses of the different magazines and
newspapers from this institute. At the different moments in that compartia with my father, he could not understand, his
conversations to teach that wonderful art to me of the letters, the paper, of the media and the communications,
a combination of education between my father and my mother. A full familiar history of anecdotes between inheritances,
a prime president of Colombia, grandfathers hero of " The thousands war of Days" contests of beauty queens and many
histories more.
